I know it doesn't interest everyone, but for some reason I love reading how people's identities were formed and what makes them act the way they do. Whenever friends or people just in general do stuff that is "odd" (out of the ordinary), I'm often trying to figure out why. What was going on in their lives? What is their background and so forth? I guess I just like to try figuring out people to make some sense of them! People are fascinating! :D

I like what you said about the collective consciousness and how you applied it to my post! Thanks so much!

BTW, most of my Facebook questions the last two days have been from tidbits from this book. :)Susannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03115294023069458287noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-740924465958245224.post-8493107899028772232011-05-26T18:33:56.130-05:002011-05-26T18:33:56.130-05:00Interesting book! I would love to read this one! :)

The author of the book I'm reading said something about soul groups forming collective consciousness and therefore having a distinct spirit such as,

"'the spirit of 1776'much like the soul group's mutual hopes, attitudes and purposes-resulting in the founding of USA".Your American identity topic reminded me of this.

Really enjoyed this post! I'm looking forward to the next one!Latnoreply@blogger.com
