Here are my library books, colorful sack and notebook! Whee!

In yesterday's post I mentioned a trip to the library. Here are the books I checked out. You can even see the colorful sack that I took along with me and filled. OK, so it was only 7 books. It sure seemed like more!  :)

Also you can see page one of my list of books to look for at the library. These are all books they have at one of the local branches per the website search feature.  I have title, author, reference number, which branch of the library has the book and even a place for when I read it.  Sometimes I even note where I heard about the book (e.g., Bridget's blog, footnote in book).

Nerd I am.

Two of these were on my list; the others just made it to my house somehow.

Any guesses which two were on my list?

I'm interested in the first two. 'After the Apple' and 'Biblical Literacy'. As for guesses...hmm...I'm going to guess 'One Year Off' and....'The Cruelest Journey'.

My guess is A Ride Along the Wall and The Cruelest Journey.

Looking forward to hearing about them all though!

Btw, have you read The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubinstein?

honestly i don't know which ones are your favorite cuz all books are favorites to me so i think the same with you.

I love the look of books, the smell of books, but i am so bored right now to read any :(
I already have over 100 Arabic and English books that have not been read yet and guess what the crazy me did yesterday, i ordered 19 more from Amazon. I am a book worm and i need to stop writing now cuz topics like this, you have to put a pillow on my mouth to stop me :D

Amber, "After the Apple" is the first one I read!

Lat, aw, thanks! :)

Becky, no, I've not read that one. Is it good?

Wafa', haaa! You are so funny! I go through short times when I am not in the mood to read. Thankfully they don't last very long! :) I'm smiling at the fact that you ordered 19 more books - wow! Amazon is deadly, huh? :)

The two books on my list were Religious Literacy and Born Fighting.

I read one Prothero book earlier this year (remember American Jesus?) so I thought to get another.

The other is how the Scots-Irish shaped America and I got interested in that topic from Akbar Ahmed's book I read a couple months ago.

The others I just found when I was there. I tend to like books about travels to places because the authors usually share interesting stuff about the cultures and topography, the people they meet, funny and horrible happenings, etc.
