Anxiety Help

Someone shared these on Facebook from a book she was reading.  I liked them, and wanted to keep them somewhere easy to find.

Researchers found that life now is safer and easier than it used to be centuries ago. Unfortunately, it doesn't feel this way because our minds are always thinking of the future.

Yes, the best antidote to anxiety is faith in Jesus Christ.

Jaraad, I can believe that. I think that's why I liked these reminders so much. When I think of the future, I can recall that God is already there - and He promised never to forsake me. I don't have to be there alone. I know that on one level, but when I allow myself to imagine the bad "what ifs" of the future, I tend to forget. Thus, these reminders are helpful!

Suzanne, yes!

The first sentance basically speaks of the fear of death. The core when it comes to people who suffer from health anxiety, great post.
