When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not shouting "I'm clean living." I'm whispering "I was lost, now I'm found and forgiven."
When I say... "I am a Christian" I don't speak of this with pride. I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.
When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not trying to be strong. I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.

When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not bragging of success. I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.
When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not claiming to be perfect, my flaws are far too visible But, God believes I am worth it.
When I say... "I am a Christian" I still feel the sting of pain. I have my share of heartaches so I call upon His name.
When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not holier than thou; I'm just a simple sinner who received God's good grace, somehow.
Ephesians 2:8For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9not by works, so that no one can boast.

This is beautiful.
I found at the church I went to, this was indeed the message that people mostly gave to non-Christians.
Between Christians, there was a lot more judgment. But, at least there was humility towards non-Christians.
Hello-

Hope you have a good evening. I look forward to reading more.
Sanil, :) back to ya!
Sarah (WWR), thanks. I loved it too, because this is really what we *should* mean. And, yeah, sadly we often kick our own when they are down. :( Judgmentalism rears its ugly head. Ugh.
I AM NOBODY, thanks for leaving a sweet comment. I hope you will feel free to speak up on topics whether or not you agree with my point of view. I'm interested in hearing your thoughts and beliefs on these issues. I learn from people when they interact with me. Welcome and I hope you come back. :)
