The Narrow Way

Louai sent me some pictures of Syria and this was one of them. I wanted to use it and thought of a verse that talked about narrow paths.

13"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."

Words of Jesus as recorded in the book of Matthew chapter 7.

I like this verse. (And the picture.)

It always reminds me that even though *everybody else* believes/does something, doesn't make them right. As I've pointed out to others before, people are wrong in large groups all the time. :)

Thanks, Amber. I liked that picture. I'm a sucker for naturish things. And this one being kind of unruly ... well, I liked it.

Thought of different "path" or "way" verses and decided on this one. I'm glad you like it. Great point you made about people in large groups not always doing right. So true.

See, I have a thing about crumbling ruins with the plants over running them, but you can still see the echo of what man built there.

Sort of a reminder that nothing we do is permanent, it all wears away. :)
