Damascus -- The Evangelical Church

We saw a number of lovely churches and mosques, but one day Andrew and I decided we wanted to find one of the few evangelical churches in Damascus. After looking at one of the maps Louai provided through Mohammed, we wandered down a number of streets in Old Damascus, asked directions a couple of times, stopped for cheese pies and finally found this church.


It was in a gated area, but since it was unlocked we went in to explore the grounds.





They also had a basketball court, but I forgot to take a picture of it. I did take a picture of these trees since I so seldom saw them in the areas we explored!
